The Pattern Store is possibly Mill House Inns’ most unique building, being built as the name suggests, in a converted Pattern Store that was once part of the GWR (Great Western Railways). Swindon is a railway town and known as the gateway to the West Country. The Pattern Store represents this, and is full of character in its own right. The walls are adorned with many old tools that were once in everyday use and are full of many minor treasures that appeal to the traditional industrial enthusiast. The Patter Store has a restaurant and sports bar, complete with Big Screen TV and some superb Pool Tables. |
